Nelson and then fused to the Nelson Foundation as another philanthropic project aimed at assisting non-profits and individuals in raising money and communicating with each other for a common purpose in the raising of funds for projects of interest to each "collective" or group.  Humancha, a new name for a concept of a "Human Chain", was envisioned by Bianconi as a social networking organization.  Nelson is committed to maintaining the site and vision of Bianconi, and providing the social networking services free of all advertising.  Michael Nelson is working on a project to provide special Humancha Awards known as the "Humanchatarian" Award.  Humancha.com is hosted by ThinkHost.com a project in environmentally responsible Hosting, SolarWebHost.com

Nelson Foundation Project Clean H2O

www.CleanH2o.org  - CleanH2O.org is the culmination of more than 15 years of giving to poor rural areas by NelsonFoundation.com founder Michael E. Nelson. Since his early teens, even prior to his education at Norwich University, Nelson has given generously to various causes and supported organizations dedicated to bringing Clean H2O (water) to the under-developed Nations and regions throughout the world.

Every year more than $100 Billion dollars is spent on bottled water around the globe. The United Nations estimates that if given just 1/6th of the money spent on bottled water each year around the globe, approximately $15 Billion, this money could cut in half the number of people without access to Clean H2O.

www.FeedOthers.org - FeedOthers.org is a project of the Nelson Foundation, the project has the lofty goals to assist in stamping out Hunger world-wide, by 2050, the year Nelson shall become 75 years of age.  Since the late 1980’s, Nelson Foundation, founder and chairman Michael E. Nelson has silently donated money, whether the tiny profits and tips of his paper route with the Woonsocket Call, or his first true entrepreneurial venture:  Mike's Magnets (a still thriving concern); these donations have been directed towards to primary areas, to various charitable organizations aimed at Feeding the Worlds Hungry and providing Clean Water to those without.

"Necessity is the Mother of All Invention" - Benjamin Franklin

www.InventorsGuild.org - As an inventor and pioneering Internet Entrepreneur, Nelson founded an International Inventors Guild, as a means to encourage people the world over to have interest in supporting and creating innovation and inventions.  International Inventor's Guild, The Guild formed by Inventors for mutual aid and protection of Intellectual Property of the Members.  he International Inventor's Guild is an association dedicated to the need for basic change in the structure of our political and economic systems as they relate to the protection of Intellectual Property (inventions). The Guild unites inventors, students, and others as an effective political and social force in the service of the people. Our aims:

Sailing Knot

Since it's inception the Nelson Foundation has supported numerous non-profits and NGO's (Non-Governmental Organizations); A private and independent organization dedicated to achieving meaningful and lasting improvements in the lives of disadvantaged individuals and communities around the world, with concentration on environmentally sensitive and critical infrastructure improvements.

Founded by Michael E. Nelson, a Norwich University graduate, the private and independent foundation's charter enables it to do charitable work worldwide.  Since his under-graduate work at Norwich University, in Vermont, Nelson has worked with a variety of non-profit organizations and even while at University worked with a colleague and former "cadre", senior member of the Corps of Cadets at the University to create and develop a non-profit 501c3 Charity, at the time called:  "The Foundation for Enhancing Education and Literacy", F.E.E.L. as an acronym, with the slogan:  "US Corporations FEEL Social Responsibility".  The initial charity only lasted a few years, and slowly fizzled out due to lack of funding, however, the lessons and great feelings knowing he was able and willing to help others was deeply instilled.  At Norwich University the Founder Alden Partridge, envisioned a College, at the time an Academy, first called the American Literary and Scientific Military Academy, which would train young men with the mettle to take on the responsibility to be free-thinkers and would be trained not only in skills needed to continue to build the greatest nation on earth, the United States of America, but would be trained to be Citizen Soldiers.  These Citizen Soldiers would be ready at a moments notice to protect and serve the United States of America.  Through this belief of a Citizen Soldiery, Nelson has envisioned a series of non-profit organizations and independent philanthropic efforts.  The support and funding of these collective projects and chosen non-profit organizations and NGO's is the way in-which Nelson has chosen to carryon this tradition of Citizen Soldiery, and continue to be a Citizen Soldier.

Through the Nelson Foundation, Michael Nelson envisioned a philanthropic organization that would focus on promoting greater contributions in five specific areas: Environment, Education, Social Development, Child Welfare and Animal Welfare. Founded in 2005, by Michael E. Nelson to contribute to a better world Today!
